System/Ground Segment and IV&V Engineering
Contribute to the engineering and to the integration, verification, and validation of next-generation Earth Observation Satellite Systems and Ground Segments.
YOUR MISSION
Contribute to the engineering of the complex satellite Systems and Ground Segments for next-generation Earth Observation missions.
Contribute the integration, verification and validation of the complex satellite Systems and Ground Segments for next-generation Earth Observation missions
Support the definition, analysis and maintenance of system, ground segment and ground segment elements requirements, ensuring end-to-end traceability.
Contribute to the system architecture, interface definition and design of the Systems and Ground Segments.
Support Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) activities and maintain engineering models.
Prepare, execute and document Integration, Verification & Validation (IV&V) activities throughout the development lifecycle.
Develop test specifications, test procedures, verification reports and support verification campaigns at system, ground segment and ground segment element levels.
Participate in technical reviews including SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, IVVR and Operational Readiness Reviews.
Support anomaly investigation, configuration management and engineering documentation.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
YOUR EXPERIENCE & TALENTS
Proven experience in System and/or Ground Segment System Engineering for earth observation missions.
Proven experience in Integration, Verification & Validation (IV&V) activities at System and/or Ground Segment levels.
Experience with System and Ground Segment IV&V covering test procedure preparation, test execution, and test results analysis for testing campaigns.
Experience throughout the complete System Engineering lifecycle.
Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Enterprise Architect.
Strong experience in Requirements Engineering and requirements management using IBM DOORS or equivalent.
Knowledge of ECSS engineering standards and engineering reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR).
Experience with Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and system/interface engineering.
Experience with Configuration Management and requirements traceability.
Experience with Linux and scripting (Python/Bash) is an advantage.
Previous experience in Copernicus missions, ESA or EUMETSAT programmes is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills and fluent English.
