Ground Segment System Engineer (IV&V)
Contribute to the engineering, integration and verification of next-generation Earth Observation satellite Ground Segment systems.
YOUR MISSION
Contribute to the engineering, integration, verification and validation of complex satellite Ground Segment systems for next-generation Earth Observation missions.
Support the definition, analysis and maintenance of system and ground segment requirements, ensuring end-to-end traceability.
Contribute to system architecture, interface definition and Ground Segment design activities.
Support Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) activities and maintain engineering models.
Prepare, execute and document Integration, Verification & Validation (IV&V) activities throughout the development lifecycle.
Develop test specifications, test procedures, verification reports and support system verification campaigns.
Participate in technical reviews including SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, IVVR and Operational Readiness Reviews.
Support anomaly investigation, configuration management and engineering documentation.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
YOUR EXPERIENCE & TALENTS
Proven experience in Ground Segment System Engineering within the space industry.
Experience throughout the complete System Engineering lifecycle.
Strong experience in Requirements Engineering and requirements management using IBM DOORS or equivalent.
Hands-on experience in Integration, Verification & Validation (IV&V) activities.
Experience with Ground Segment integration, testing and verification campaigns.
Knowledge of ECSS engineering standards and engineering reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR).
Experience with Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and system/interface engineering.
Experience with Configuration Management and requirements traceability.
Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Enterprise Architect is considered an asset.
Experience with Linux and scripting (Python/Bash) is an advantage.
Previous experience in Earth Observation, Copernicus, ESA or EUMETSAT programmes is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills and fluent English.
