PROJECT SCOPE

• Develop and implement high-level remediation strategies aligned with EU environmental directives and national regulations
• Advise on and select appropriate remediation technologies and methodologies suitable for EU contexts
• Conduct risk assessments, offering insights and mitigation recommendations in line with EU guidelines
• Oversee and monitor remediation project compliance with EU standards, timelines, and budgets, making adjustments as necessary
• Untroduce to specialized European firms and laboratories and ensure all documentation meets EU regulatory reporting standards

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology, or related field
• Strong expertise in environmental remediation, particularly for industrial sites in the EU
• Deep understanding of EU environmental laws, directives, and regulations
• Established network of contacts within the European environmental remediation sector
• Expertise in proven soil and groundwater remediation technologies, including in situ and ex-situ applications such as chemical oxidation/reduction, metals treatment, and bioremediation
• Demonstrated success in managing remediation projects, addressing contaminants in groundwater, soils, sediments, and industrial waste effectively and cost-efficiently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional European languages are a plus
